Well, after saying that I wouldn't make another busy book - ever - I decided that I would make one for my nephew, Elijah. It's definitely a labor of love to make a busy book, but I wanted to give him a Christmas present that really meant something.
Here's the cover: Of course I chose camo for this little hunting boy!
The front page has a frog and a monkey on it. These are the only two things I didn't make by hand. I saw them at Hobby Lobby, and I thought they were so cute!
The left side of this page has little car buttons on it, and there's a stoplight on the right.
The left side of this page has a pig, an owl, a bird, a cat and an elephant. The right side is a tent with a little surprise tiger inside!
Sports balls: basketball, soccer, baseball and football. Then counting beads on the right.
The left side is fish under water. The right side is a boat, and each section comes off the button. The buttons are color coordinated to know where to put them back.
On the left are various shapes in different colors, and on the right is X's and O's to play tic-tac-toe.
It's not as long or big as the girls' busy book, but is was definitely easier to make this time. Mostly because I had done it before. I think it turned out super cute! I think Eli did, too!
